Euro Millions Update: €100M on Fri. Mar. 6

There was no winner in the Friday, February 27th Euro Millions draw to win the €43 Million jackpot.  The winning numbers were 5-9-37-44-45 and Lucky Stars 6-9.

The Euro Millions Jackpot is an estimated €100 Million on Friday, March 6.

Nine Participating Countries; Nine Combined Prize Pools!

Euro Millions is a transnational lottery game with nine participating member countries: the UK, France, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland. Draws are held once a week, every Friday, and offer a minimum Jackpot of €15 Million.

In recent years, however, with more players from the newer member countries coming in, Euro Millions Jackpots have grown to as high as €183 Million! (Twice, at that!) These two immense jackpots (as well as
the recent €130 Million just last February) were shared by several winners – but the highest jackpot ever won by a single player was €116 Million.

Twelve Ways to Win
The good news is, you can still win millions in Europe’s most popular lottery – even when you DON’T win the Jackpot.  Euro Millions’ 12 prize divisions are pari-mutuel – which in simple terms means that the prizes for each division are not fixed. The amounts vary depending on that week’s ticket sales, the jackpot amount and the number of winners in that division. The bigger the Jackpot, the bigger all the lower division prizes become as well!

Considering all this, plus the fact that all prizes (the jackpot included) are free of government taxes, and paid out in a single lump sum (unlike other lotteries which pay out the Jackpot amount over several years), the Euro Millions lottery is undoubtedly a top contender for the world’s biggest, most profitable prize draws.
